Geiser & Bowman, LLC is seeking an experienced Associate Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. These positions offers the opportunity to be involved in every stage of a case, from the initial client call through resolution, while working closely with a supportive and experienced team.
For experienced attorneys, this role offers the ability to independently manage a caseload, handle negotiations, and develop litigation strategy.

Personal Injury Associate Attorney Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from pre-litigation through litigation
- Conduct client consultations and provide clear, strategic legal guidance
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and settlement demands
- Negotiate with insurance companies to achieve favorable outcomes
- Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and trials as needed
- Collaborate with paralegals and staff to ensure efficient case management
- Maintain regular client communication and provide status updates
- Evaluate cases for settlement & litigation strategy
- The Associate Attorney will participate in the firm’s new client intake rotation alongside other attorneys. This role provides the opportunity to evaluate prospective cases in real time and exercise professional judgment in determining which matters to accept and pursue.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing in Ohio
- 1–5+ years of personal injury experience preferred (litigation experience a plus)
- Strong writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Trial experience or willingness to develop trial skills
