Description
OverviewKey Responsibilities
Golf Operations & Guest Experience
- Oversee daily operations of the pro shop and outside services to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Serve as a primary point of contact for golfers, providing a high level of service and professionalism
- Assist with tee sheet management, pace of play, and overall flow of play
- Resolve guest concerns in a timely and service-focused manner
Retail & Merchandising
- Manage pro shop retail operations, including merchandising, inventory control, and product selection
- Monitor sales performance and recommend strategies to drive revenue
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing retail displays
Team Leadership & Scheduling
- Supervise, train, and develop pro shop attendants and outside services staff
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage based on business levels
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and guest service
Outside Services Oversight
- Oversee cart operations, bag drop, and practice facility setup
- Ensure carts are clean, staged, and ready for daily play
- Maintain high standards for range operations, bag handling, and overall presentation
Financial & Operational Support
- Assist with daily cash handling, POS transactions, and reconciliation processes
- Support revenue goals through upselling, merchandising, and service initiatives
- Partner with the General Manager and golf leadership on operational improvements
Facility Standards & Compliance
- Ensure all areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and organization
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 2-5+ years of experience in golf operations, retail, or hospitality leadership
- Prior experience in a golf course or country club environment preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing teams and scheduling staff
- Familiarity with POS systems and tee sheet management software preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
