The University of Maryland Department of Emergency Medicine has a proud tradition of serving communities across the Baltimore metropolitan area. Our faculty and residents provide patient care at four diverse hospital emergency departments in downtown Baltimore: University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC), Baltimore VA Medical Center, UMMC Midtown Campus, and Mercy Medical Center.
