Foley & Mansfield, a professional limited liability partnership, is a national law firm with more than 120 attorneys in offices from coast to coast. We provide legal expertise, creative solutions and extensive trial experience for large corporations, small businesses, and individuals.

We are seeking a Business Development & Marketing Coordinator with a minimum of two years of marketing experience. The candidate will provide marketing and business development support to the attorneys in various practice areas under the supervision of the Director of Business Development & Marketing. The ideal candidate will have the ability to excel within a deadline-driven, service environment and to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively. The position also requires strong writing and editing skills, as well as meticulous attention to detail. This position is fully remote, but you must reside in a state where Foley & Mansfield has an office: CA, CO, FL, IL, IN, KS, LA, MI, MN, MO, NY.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support firmwide marketing and business development initiatives under the direction of the BD & Marketing Director.
  • Create and edit responses to RFPs, pitch materials, and other business development presentations.
  • Coordinate and manage survey participation and responses, sponsorships, and optimizing participation with firmwide member organizations. 
  • Compile business and industry research in support of new business opportunities
  • Maintain contact database and mailing lists
  • Manage firm digital assets including logos, photos, and attorney headshots.
  • Manage social media presence.
  • Create, proofread, and edit marketing and business development copy, including practice area descriptions, matters lists, invitations, and attorney biographies.
  • Update practice descriptions, lawyer bios, news, and publication items on the firm website.
  • Conduct research and compile information regarding existing and prospective clients, competitor activity and industry or market trends.
  • Create and coordinate announcements of new hires, partner/counsel promotions and noteworthy news and case wins.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of internal and external events including sponsorships.
  • Manage and assist with purchase and distribution of client/prospect/referral gifts.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher with a concentration in marketing, business, or communications preferred.
  • Experience working in a law firm and/or knowledge of professional services organizations strongly preferred.
  • Must be a team player who is self-motivated and can work independently and at a fast pace.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher; knowledge of databases, CRM systems, and e-mail marketing software a plus.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms required.
  • Proficiency in WordPress a plus.
