Description
Charles Abbott Associates, Inc. (CAA), So. Cal.'s leading building & safety services provider, is currently interviewing for
a full-time Building Inspector for North Orange County.
Responsibilities include reviewing plans and conducting field inspections of private and public construction projects' structural,
plumbing, mechanical and/or electrical installations, to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and regulations.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in structural building inspection and/or residential combination inspection
with additional experience in any of the following areas: electrical, plumbing, mechanical installations and/or inspections; grading and right-of-way construction and/or inspection, working as a lead worker, or in an administrative or supervisory capacity.

REQUIREMENTS
Candidates with current ICC/ICBO certification are preferred; those without current certification must obtain certification within one year of hire. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must.
