Rock of Ages is hiring a Life Enrichment Director to work with our Independent Living Residents!

The ideal candidate would have the ability to support the mission of Rock of Ages by fostering an engaging and active environment for independent living residents. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading life enrichment programs that promote social, physical, spiritual, and intellectual well-being. The Life Enrichment Director plays a vital role in community and relationship building and reports directly to the COO.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required (preferably in a residential care facility, hospital, or similar setting). Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or related credential preferred.
Completion of a 36-hour activity director workshop (per Oregon Administrative Rules) within 90 days of hire.
High energy, positive attitude, and a passion for serving older adults.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Valid Oregon driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation required.
Must successfully pass the Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check and, if applicable, fingerprinting.
Must have or be able to obtain Food Handlers and CPR certification.
Wages: $20.00 - $25.00/hr (Depending on Experience)
Shift/Position: Full time/Days (with flexibility to occasionally work evening/weekends/Holidays)
