The Division of Pediatric Surgery at the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine is recruiting a candidate for a full-time faculty member as a Pediatric Surgeon to join our group of established Pediatric Surgeons. Oklahoma Children’s Hospital is the only freestanding Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma. It is the Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center for the state and has a level IV level NICU. Pay is commensurate to rank and experience. The position offers competitive salary and benefits. Candidates will need to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, be committed to ongoing performance improvement, and possess outstanding abilities and skills in teaching and clinical medicine. Dedication to enhancing a diverse workforce and academic environment is vital. A strong interest in education is desirable.
Minimum qualifications include an MD degree and board eligible/certified in Pediatric Surgery. Responsibilities will include patient care at the OU Health Center Children’s Hospital and teaching responsibilities for resident and pediatric surgery fellow education in the University of Oklahoma Department of Surgery Division of Pediatric Surgery.
