VP Fund Finance

Our client is a rapidly growing investment platform who is seeking a key member to join their team. This candidate will play a cruicial role in leading the end‑to‑end underwriting of loans. The position requires strong analytical and credit skills, along with deep experience evaluating fund structures, liquidity, NAV behavior, and sponsor quality, while helping establish underwriting standards and a scalable credit framework.

Role Responsibilities:

• Fund & Collateral Underwriting
• Borrower-Level Credit Assessment
• Framework & Process Development
• Market & Fund Intelligence

Role Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in fund finance, NAV lending, or underwriting alternative investment vehicles.
• Strong analytical background across private equity, credit, real assets, hedge funds, or venture capital.
• Skilled in preparing and presenting detailed underwriting or investment memos to internal committees.
• Able to independently run full underwriting processes; experience with wealth-linked lending is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong grasp of fund structures, liquidity features, cash flow mechanics, and capital account dynamics.
• Skilled in financial modeling, stress testing, and NAV‑based exposure analysis.
• Able to translate complex fund and credit data into clear, concise written analysis.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and collaborative, with the ability to operate effectively in a lean environment.
