Rupp Pfalzgraf LLC is seeking an experienced Trust & Estates Partner to lead and expand our Trust & Estates practice. This is a unique leadership opportunity for a seasoned attorney to step into an active and established practice with dedicated support staff and the resources necessary to drive continued strategic growth.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the firm’s Trusts & Estates practice with strategic vision and strong client focus.
- Oversee delivery of comprehensive estate planning services, including wills, advanced directives, powers of attorney, health care proxies, and living wills.
- Guide clients through a full range of trust planning, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, supplemental needs trusts, and charitable trusts.
- Provide sophisticated business succession planning services tailored to the needs of business owners and their families.
- Counsel clients on estate, gift, and related tax planning strategies to preserve wealth and minimize tax exposure.
- Advise on and integrate charitable giving strategies that complement estate goals.
- Supervise all aspects of estate and trust administration, including probate processes, fiduciary duties, accountings, and distributions.
- Represent fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and other interested parties in estate and trust litigation as needed.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and professional referral sources.
- Mentor and lead support staff and junior attorneys to ensure high-quality legal services and consistent client communication.
- Collaborate with attorneys across other practice groups to deliver cross-disciplinary legal solutions.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- 15+ years of experience in Trust & Estates law, including estate planning and administration.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex client matters.
- Experience supervising attorneys and staff preferred.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Business development experience and leadership mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a dynamic environment.

Salary Range:
$150,000 – $225,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
