Description
Arader Tree Service is seeking an experienced Tree Climber Foreman with a CDL who is an ambitious self-starter and a passion for preserving and caring for trees and shrubs. This position will focus on monitoring, evaluating, and providing the plant health care needs of trees and shrubs on commercial and residential properties.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care with experience in tree climbing and trimming. This role involves climbing trees to perform various tasks related to tree health and aesthetics, ensuring the safety and beauty of our clients' landscapes. CDL required. Certified Arborist preferred.
Responsibilities
Climb trees using appropriate safety gear and techniques to perform trimming, pruning, and removal of branches as necessary.
Operate aerial lift trucks, crane, and spider lift along with other equipment safely and efficiently for tree take down, trimming, and maintenance tasks.
Assess the health of trees and provide recommendations for care or treatment based on observations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Collaborate with team members to execute landscape maintenance projects effectively.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about the work being performed and any additional services that may be beneficial.
Requirements
Experience
CDL Class B. Previous experience using tree care equipment such as aerial lift truck, spider lift, crane, along with chainsaw and various other related equipment is required.
Previous experience in tree climbing, tree trimming, or landscape maintenance is required.
Knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and proper care techniques.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
