Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join a dynamic team in Summit, New Jersey. This is a travel role in a supportive and collaborative work environment, focusing on patient care in a large acute care facility.

Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist

• Evaluate patients and establish plans of care and treatment programs
• Provide interventions and deliver patient and family education
• Document interventions and ensure appropriate billing
• Support Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation
• Participate in the orientation of new staff members
• Serve as a clinical instructor for students
• Exercise independent judgment on moderately complex cases with minimal supervision

Requirements of the Physical Therapist

• New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program
• 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is strongly preferred
• Experience in Acute Care in a large academic medical setting preferred
• Preferred home health experience and Epic experience
• Board Certification as Specialist in an area suitable for care in an acute care setting is advantageous
