Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Richmond, VA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 9:00 AM start) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures within the Radiology/Cardiology department
• Operate Siemens nuclear medicine equipment to acquire and process diagnostic images
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately using EPIC
• Float within scope of practice to other areas as needed
• Complete required facility orientation modules within the designated orientation week timeframe

Required Qualifications

• NMTCB certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Active VA license or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal
• 2 professional references required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a travel or contract capacity within a large healthcare system
• Familiarity with Radiology/Cardiology department workflows
