RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Day shift position with 12-hour shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:6/7 utilizing team nursing model (splits caseload between 2 RNs, LPN & Med Nurse)
• On-call coverage as needed
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Must have minimum 2 years recent experience (strictly enforced)
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Travel experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted unless they have 5+ years specialty experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Skills needed: Med/Surg, MS/Tele, starting and maintaining IVs
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac med-surg conditions
• Handle patients with CHF, AMI, post cath lab, PPM placements, ablations
• Verify rhythm strips, manage drips at set rates, titrate heparin per protocol
• Work with 48-bed unit with daily census of 42 patients
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility (strict radius rule)
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• All RTO must be included at time of submission
