indred Spirits Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a compassionate Veterinary Technician Assistant to our team. At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Our attentive environment means we strive to make each visit as easy and comfortable as possible for our pet patients and their human families. As part of our team, you'll work with the latest technology, gain access to state-of-the-art training facilities, and collaborate with a positive team to deliver the highest quality of care to the pet patients we all love.About: Kindred Spirits Veterinary Clinic is a five-doctor practice that treats dogs, cats, and exotic animals. Our clinic offers some of the newest technologies, including ultrasound, on-site digital radiography, and IDEXX testing equipment.
Kindred Spirits Veterinary Clinic is in Orrington, Maine. There's plenty to do; hiking, kayaking, lots of outdoor activities and an active music/arts community. The city of Bangor and the International Airport are just minutes away. Bangor's historic downtown is full of new shops, boutiques and award-winning restaurants. The Bangor Waterfront is now a major regional event center with premier concerts and events. Veterinary Technician Assistant
Kindred Spirits Veterinary Clinic in Orrington, ME
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones
- Keep cages clean and sanitized
- Walking, feeding, and picking up after the animals
- Various housekeeping duties (Laundry, dishes, cleaning exam rooms, etc)
- Help maintain and sterilize surgical packs and surgical equipment
- Assist Licensed Veterinary Technicians with patients and other tasks
- Maintain hospital inventory by restocking retail products and medical supplies

REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Genuinely enjoys working with animals and can deal with them even when they are stressed, ill or in pain. Dedication to safety for all parties involved
- Strong work ethic and track record of being reliable
