SUMMARY:
The Sr. Specialist Talent, Learning and Development supports the execution of company talent and learning strategies by designing, coordinating, and delivering learning experiences that build organizational capability and workforce readiness. This role focuses on operationalizing skills-based learning, supporting onboarding and development initiatives, and enabling tailored upskilling and reskilling journeys for key talent and critical roles.
By operationalizing skills-based learning, supporting integrated talent processes, and driving engagement through strong communication, this role helps scale impactful learning experiences and build the capabilities required for organizational performance and future readiness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and support the delivery of learning experiences aligned with enterprise talent, performance, and leadership development priorities.
- Contribute to onboarding learning experiences that support role readiness, engagement, and long-term development.
- Develop and support blended learning solutions, including digital learning, workshops, and experiential development.
- Collect feedback and learning data to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement of learning offerings.
- Assist in mapping skills to roles, career paths, and critical positions to enable targeted upskilling and reskilling; partner with the Sr. Manager to produce insights on skill gaps, development needs, and readiness for critical roles.
- Support the integration of skills and learning data into talent management processes, including workforce planning, succession planning, and Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
- Maintain and manage learning and talent data within systems such as My Talent World.
- Support the administration and adoption of learning platforms and tools (e.g., digital learning libraries, development platforms, Career Marketplace).
- Coordinate logistics and execution for learning programs, workshops, and talent initiatives.
- Design and deliver internal communications promoting talent and learning programs, events, and development opportunities.
- Support the creation of newsletters, campaigns, and learning calendars to drive awareness and participation.
- Partner with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Engagement, and business stakeholders to support learning and talent initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, quality, and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Maintain documentation, content libraries, and learning resources to ensure consistency and accessibility.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, psychology, business administration, or related field preferred.
- 35 years of experience in learning & development, talent management, organizational development, or a related HR function.
- Hands-on experience supporting learning programs, onboarding initiatives, or development frameworks.
- Exposure to skills-based talent initiatives, performance management, or leadership development preferred.
- Experience working with learning or talent management systems (LMS/TMS); My Talent World experience is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Strong learning experience and instructional design capabilities.
- Ability to translate strategic direction into practical, scalable learning solutions.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Analytical mindset with comfort working with learning and skills data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for internal communications.
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Physical demands are mostly consistent with a professional office setting.
- Regular sitting at workstation for 25 75% of the work shift.
- Business travel as required (<15%)
