Senior Field Service Representative (SFSR) - Marine Corps Tactical Instrumentation Systems (MCTIS)Senior Field Service Representative (SFSR) Marine Corps Tactical Instrumentation Systems (MCTIS) Quantico, VA Estimated Start Date: 1 March 2026 The Senior Field Service Representative provides technical, operational, and personnel oversight for Marine Corps Tactical Instrumentation Systems (MCTIS). This role is responsible for supervising and mentoring Field Service Representatives (FSRs) ensuring the consistent execution of MCTIS operations, maintenance, and data collection in strict accordance with contract requirements. The Senior Field Service Representative delivers front-line logistical coordination and technical guidance to the FSR team throughout all phases of MCTIS-supported training, maintaining system readiness and operational continuity. The Senior Field Service Representative oversees MCTIS system integration, configuration, and troubleshooting, coordinating instrumentation, networks, sensors, and input for the After-Action Review (AAR) to effectively support unit training objectives. This position manages FSR certification and sustainment training, validates operator proficiency, and enforces configuration control, safety compliance, and quality assurance standards. Additionally, the Senior Field Service Representative leads the support team during equipment issue and recovery operations, ensuring training units properly integrate MCTIS equipment with their organic systems. The role includes delivering formal instruction and hands-on training across all aspects of the MCTIS system. During training events, the Senior Field Service Representative directs FSR Contact Teams that provide responsive field support, including emergent equipment issue resolution, battery exchanges, system troubleshooting, and supplemental user training, ensuring uninterrupted training execution and mission success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports to the Site Lead on operational and personnel support for MCTIS at assigned fielded locations and during Satellite Incidental Training Site activities.
- Provides operational and personnel oversight for MCTIS in support of the warehouse across assigned training locations.
- Supervises, mentors, and evaluates FSRs, ensuring consistent execution of MCTIS operations, maintenance, and data collection in accordance with contract requirement and approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Plans, prepares, configures, and stages MCTIS equipment prior to each training exercise in accordance with the approved support plan.
- Coordinates and oversees the issue, emplacement, accountability, recovery, and transportation of MCTIS equipment, ensuring proper integration with training unit organic systems.
- Delivers formal instruction and hands-on training to training units and FSR personnel on MCTIS equipment familiarity, functionality, and employment, both in garrison and in field environments.
- Assists with the erection, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MCTIS communication and network systems.
- Leads and manages FSR Contact Teams during training execution to provide responsive field support, including:
- In-field equipment instruction and refresher training
- Troubleshooting, repair, and exchange of MCTIS equipment
- Battery resupply and sustainment operations
- Equipment emplacement, maintenance, and recovery within training areas
- Performs and oversees authorized levels of preventive and corrective maintenance on MCTIS equipment, ensuring serviceability and operational readiness and uninterrupted training support.
- Ensures all system faults, incidents, maintenance actions, and operational issues are accurately documented in accordance with contract and program requirements.
- Monitors stock levels and assist with serialized equipment accountability, inventory control, and resupply coordination.
- Oversee FSR certification and sustainment training, validate proficiency, and administers Performance Evaluation Checklists (PECLs) as required.
- Provides input to Site Lead and program leadership for performance assessments, personnel development, and readiness evaluations of assigned FSRs.
- Coordinates with leadership to support training schedules, resolve technical or operational issues, and maintain situational awareness during training events.
- Supports transition, phase-in, system upgrades, and fielding activities through training support, knowledge transfer, and validation of operational readiness.
- Performs other related duties incidental to the work described and consistent with the scope of the position.
- Attended Professional Military Education appropriate to rank at time of separation or retirement from the uniformed service.
- Ideal candidate is a former Marine with recent training experience.
- 10+ years of experience with Fleet Marine Force operational experience preferred.
- Experience or expertise in warehousing operations, embarking operations, heavy equipment or motor transport operations, and / or field communications preferred.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and forklift certification are highly desirable.

- Prolonged outdoor exposure to the elements. Work in inclement temperatures from 100+ degrees in a low elevation desert climate to negative 25 degrees in a high elevation (6,500 10,000 feet) mountainous environment.
- Routine heavy lifting (50 lbs. maximum).
- Daily driving in the training areas with poor driving conditions due to rugged terrain, weather, and debris.
- May require 15%-20% travel. Some training overseas may occur which requires a valid U.S. Passport.
- Daily travel at home site location and occasionally travel off-site in accordance with contract requirements.
- Company credit card use and compliance with Company policy are mandatory.
- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company's auto insurance provider.
