Description
Join a collaborative team where you'll use your analytical, storytelling, and organizational strengths to help us set strategy, measure what matters, and communicate progress. You'll partner with leaders and cross-functional teams to turn data into insight and accelerate execution.As a Business Management Associate in the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) within Finance & Business Management (F&BM), you support Securities Services Operations (SSOps) by shaping strategy, building operational metrics, and delivering clear, compelling communications. You will collaborate with senior leaders and partners across Finance, Business Management, and Data & Analytics to enable end-to-end execution and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and track strategy, objectives, and targets; build the operational metrics framework across SSOps teams.
- Translate complex information and data into clear narratives and visuals; produce high-impact materials using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Plan and prepare agendas and materials for management meetings, business reviews, leadership offsites, and site visits.
- Engage and influence stakeholders across Finance, Controls, and Technology; communicate with senior leaders with professional presence.
- Coordinate annual investment governance, including business case development, approvals, and performance tracking.
- Lead communications for town halls, all-hands, newsletters, video messages, and organization announcements.
- Maintain business hygiene by tracking mandatory training completion, access recertifications, and resiliency planning.
- Project manage key workstreams and deliverables, ensuring timelines, quality, and issue resolution.
- Identify platform risks and drive mitigating controls; support audit, regulatory, and compliance deliverables including RCSA action plans.
- Drive continuous improvement, simplifying processes and delivering measurable value in collaboration with global partners.
- Support People Agenda initiatives including diversity and inclusion, recruiting, manager excellence, and recognition.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or business intelligence.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial services.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent English writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate, and build partnerships across multiple levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and present new ideas in a compelling manner.
- Ability to multi-task and work autonomously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with changing priorities.
- Proactive, inquisitive, enthusiastic, and diligent work style.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with SharePoint and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data wrangling (e.g., Alteryx).
- Working knowledge of SQL or a programming language (e.g., Python or R).
- Experience with prompt engineering to enhance analytics and productivity workflows.
- Familiarity with investment governance processes and business case development.
- Knowledge of risk and control frameworks, including RCSA.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Track record of driving process simplification and continuous improvement.
