Position Title: Seasonal Stamping Production Operator (5:45pm-6am, Sun, Mon, Tues)

Job title: STAMPING OPERATOR

Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday; 5:45pm to 6 am

Summary/Objective: The Stamping Operator will beresponsible for operating stamping presses, performing in-process quality inspections.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

1. Read and maintain a shared shiftreport throughout the work day.
2. Use Samtec systems to record production data, inventory quantities and confirm quality.
1. UseSFC to locate, print an order and enter daily production numbers.
2. Followdetailed work instructions and quality guidelines
3. Use Samtec's internalInventory Suite to make labels, reprint labels, and void labels
4. Pullup print in Print View to verify revision and winding specifics
5. EnterAuto-Tech for needed maintenance or tool changes
6. Use PRISM to record downtime events and change press status.
3. Inspections
1. Performvisual inspections
2. Mustbe familiar with standard inspection equipment and gauges for precisionmeasurements
3. Enteran Auto-Tech for any non-conformity found by the inspector
4. Mustbe able to communicate quality issues verbally.
4. Must be able to manage time to minimize shut down for breaks and lunches.
5. Physical demands include lifting 40 pounds from the floor to a height of 4 feet and standing for 10 or more hours each shift.

The responsibilities as defined are intended to serve as a general guideline for this position. Associates may be asked to perform additional tasks depending on strengths and capabilities.

Required Experience:

1. 2+ years experience in a manufacturing or stamping facility is preferred
2. Individual must be able to stand for 12-hour shift and will be subject to loud environment. Hearing protection will be available to the associate.
3. Some simple mechanical experience is a plus.

Preferred Education:

1. High School diploma or GED is required.

Training required: On the Job Training as appropriate
