Experience Required

- National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) - Certified Personal Trainer
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) - Certified Personal Trainer
- American Council on Exercise (ACE) - Personal Trainer Certification
- National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) - Certified Personal Trainer
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
- Current CPR/AED Certification
- Participation in continuing education programs

Essential Responsibilities

- Design safe and effective fitness programs
- Guide members through initial and progressive training sessions
- Ensure proper, current, and safe procedures are used during instruction
- Inspect all equipment and areas for cleanliness and safety
- Perform light custodial duties, including wiping down equipment before and after use
- Enforce all rules and regulations politely and professionally
- Incorporate safe work practices in all job performance
- Schedule ongoing training sessions and maximize personal book of business
- Work closely with Fitness Management
