Radiation Oncologists - Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston
The Department of Radiation Oncology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston is actively seeking full-time faculty members with interest/expertise in breast malignancies. The physicians will provide care at BIDMC/Longwood Medical Area. Experience in SBRT/Cyberknife treatment, and a strong interest in clinical/translational research is desirable. Responsibilities will include clinical care and teaching/research activity as appropriate, with an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor, to be determined based on experience and qualifications. This role is an employment model position in Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
The applicant will be expected to meet the following requirements for employment:
- Massachusetts Medical License
- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology/eligibility within one year of employment
- MA Controlled Substance Registration
- Individual Federal DEA

We seek Radiation Oncologists to join our growing organization. BIDMC is the flagship academic medical center of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH), a health care system consisting of 13 tertiary, specialty and community hospitals in Eastern Massachusetts. The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, will be a major component of the Dana Farber-BIDMC cancer collaboration. The breast program at BIDMC will be significantly expanding during fall 2025-2026. We offer state of the art treatments involving a vast array of technologies and a large team of health care experts. Our faculty provides care at the Longwood campus as well as three community sites located in Winchester and Needham, MA and Exeter, NH.
