WFAA is seeking a Production Coordinator to oversee and execute all aspects of sponsored content production - from concept to delivery - while coordinating resources, schedules, and workflows.
This role blends the creative and technical expertise of a producer with the organizational and operational strengths of a production coordinator. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, logistics and production, collaborating with Sales, Community Impact, Production teams and external partners to produce content that aligns with WFAA's brand standards and engages audiences across broadcast, digital, and streaming platforms.
Examples of branded content include Shaping DFW, Little Wishes, Facts for Families, and Family First.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the full production process for branded and sponsored content - from ideation through post-production.
- Collaborate with Sales, Community Impact, and client partners to develop creative concepts that meet client goals while maintaining audience relevance.
- Write, produce, shoot, and edit branded storytelling pieces, short-form features, verticals, and sizzle reels for linear, digital, and streaming distribution.
- Design and integrate motion graphics, AR elements, and innovative visuals to enhance client deliverables.
- Manage production schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet contractual standards.
- Coordinate logistics for branded content production, including equipment, crews, talent, and location scheduling.
- Support sponsored special event coverage on an as-needed basis
- Manage production assets, including tracking and maintaining an inventory system for cameras, lighting, audio, and visual resources.
- Act as point of contact for outside production teams and branded clients.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams to provide updates, approvals, and final deliveries.
- Stay abreast of production and branded content trends to drive innovation in storytelling and presentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5-7+ years of experience in content production, ideally within branded, documentary, or broadcast environments.
- Advanced skills in videography, lighting, audio recording, editing, and motion graphics.
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience with augmented reality, 3D, or interactive visual design preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with clients and internal departments on creative and logistical execution.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
