OverviewAbout Us: At Triple Crown, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences and outstanding service to our members and guests. Our Pro Shop Staff plays a vital role in ensuring that every interaction is pleasant and that the Pro Shop operates seamlessly.
Job Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Pro Shop Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exemplary service both over the phone and in person, maintain the Pro Shop's cleanliness, and ensure effective communication within our team and with members.
Experience Required
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment, is preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
- Attributes:
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require physical effort, such as lifting and arranging merchandise.
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including both indoor and outdoor settings.
Essential Responsibilities
Phone Etiquette:
- Answer phone calls with a friendly and inviting tone.
- Assist members with booking tee times, signing up for events, and resolving any issues.
In-Person Service:
- Greet guests promptly upon entering the Pro Shop.
- Determine guests' needs and offer assistance with shopping, check-ins, event registrations, or general inquiries.
- Inform guests about special sales, promotions, and upcoming events.
Cleanliness and Presentation:
- Maintain cleanliness in the Pro Shop through regular dusting, vacuuming, and organizing.
- Ensure merchandise is neatly displayed and well-organized.
- Create a welcoming and attractive environment that encourages repeat visits.
Communication:
- Monitor and manage the live tee sheet; communicate changes to outside staff as needed.
- Accurately register members for events and ensure all details are correctly entered and communicated.
- Handle calls from the golf course and communicate pertinent information to the relevant staff members.
- Over-communicate important details to prevent misunderstandings or missed information.
