Description
Resonance Campaigns, a growing political direct mail firm, is seeking an experienced political professional to join our team for the 2026 cycle. Principals are responsible for shaping and executing high-impact direct mail and digital campaigns for Democratic candidates and organizations. A Principal will serve as the strategic lead for client accounts, manage and mentor account staff, and ensure flawless execution of all deliverables from concept to production.
This position’s anticipated duration is June 1, 2026 through November 3, 2026. This position is hybrid-remote based out of our DC office with the potential to be fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Lead the development of compelling direct mail and digital campaign strategies aligned with client goals.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients and serve as the firm’s primary point of contact.
- Attend and contribute to campaign strategy meetings, retreats, and regular check-ins.
- Project Management:
- Overseeing execution of mail and digital plans, ensuring all work aligns with overall campaign goals and strategy.
- Supervise and support Account Executives, providing clear direction
- Develop mail and digital budgets, ensuring resources are used efficiently and effectively.
- Business Development:
- Proactively seek out and pitch new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 election cycles of campaign experience, including management roles (or equivalent experience in a related field).
- Strong understanding of political strategy, field operations, and voter targeting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor junior staff.
- Excellent organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail, and an ability to multitask.
- Experience or exposure to NGPVAN, Catalist, or other voter file platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A deep commitment to electing Democrats and advancing Democratic values.
- A collaborative spirit—and a good sense of humor.
Compensation
Principal salary range is $90,000-$120,000/year, commensurate with experience, plus the opportunity for a generous post election bonus. Resonance Campaigns also offers 100% employer-paid premiums for employee health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
