Description
Rarebreed Veterinary Partners is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support efforts to analyze and optimize pricing strategies across our hospitals.As part of our Growth team, your work will directly contribute to delivering on Rarebreed's vision: Elevate the human experience by advancing the well-being of pets, their people, and the professionals who care for them.The Growth team believes that every hospital has a story, and it's our job to help tell it.
This is a remote role that requires occasional travel and is open to candidates within the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and maintaining pricing strategies across Rarebreed's network of hospitals. Your work will ensure that our pricing structure is competitive, sustainable, and aligned with delivering exceptional care and value to pets and their families. You'll collaborate closely with finance, operations, and hospital leadership to support decision-making that balances client affordability with business performance.

What you'll do:
Inform pricing strategy:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret pricing and cost data across hospitals, services, and products
- Pair data and organizational objectives into pricing strategy recommendations; seek organizational buy-in
- Implement pricing strategies across full Rarebreed hospital network
Analyze and report:
- Monitor market trends, competitive benchmarks, and industry standards to inform pricing decisions
- Develop pricing models and recommendations to optimize revenue, profitability, and client accessibility
- Track and report on the effectiveness of pricing strategies, identifying opportunities for adjustments and improvements
- Provide insights and analysis to support new service launches, promotions, and bundled offerings
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy in pricing databases and reporting tools
Lead cross-functionally:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing aligns with Rarebreed's mission, client experience goals, and financial objectives
- Partner with hospital leadership and finance teams to implement pricing strategies that reflect local markets and client needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Business, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or related role preferred but would train someone new to the workforce given the right attitude, desire to learn, and proven coach-ability. Healthcare or veterinary industry experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with data analysis/visualization tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) are essential for this role
- Ability to translate complex pricing and financial data into clear, actionable insights for decision-makers
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on continuous improvement
