Overview

Oakland Hills Country Club is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Practice Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of our world-class practice facilities. This seasonal position is ideal for an aspiring golf professional pursuing a career in the golf industry.

The Practice Facilities Manager is responsible for the daily operation, supervision, and presentation of the driving range and short game practice areas while delivering an exceptional experience to members and guests.

Experience Required

Previous experience in the golf industry is preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

Practice Facility Operations

• Oversee daily setup, maintenance coordination, and presentation of the driving range and short game areas.
• Ensure practice facilities are consistently maintained to the highest standards.
• Monitor inventory and quality of range balls and range equipment.
• Coordinate closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and Golf Operations team to maintain optimal turf conditions and facility readiness.

Staff Leadership & Supervision

• Train, schedule, and supervise driving range staff.
• Foster a professional, positive, and service-driven team culture.
• Ensure staff provide timely, courteous, and attentive service to all members and guests.
• Conduct regular training focused on service excellence and operational efficiency.

Member & Guest Experience

• Provide outstanding hospitality and personalized service reflective of Oakland Hills' standards of excellence.
• Build strong relationships with members through consistent presence and engagement.
• Anticipate member needs and proactively enhance the practice facility experience.
• Support club tournaments, outings, and special events as needed.
