Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Physicist to support Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) production, with a focus on advancing non-literal Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) analytical processes and techniques. This role supports advanced remote sensing exploitation through detailed technical data analysis and the development and refinement of Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) methods. The position requires close collaboration with engineers, scientists, and analysts to address complex exploitation challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and exploit remotely sensed data using advanced GEOINT tools to produce and disseminate GEOINT products
Provide technical leadership to teams performing exploitation and process development
Develop and refine processes for exploiting unique, anomalous, and complex datasets using physics-based and engineering approaches
Perform algorithm development to support complex data exploitation workflows
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics
Experience processing and analyzing Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) remote sensing data
Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
Desired Qualifications
Experience interpreting image-based data
Experience analyzing radar cross section (RCS) and radar signatures
Experience with non-literal GEOINT SAR applications
Familiarity with Xpatch software
Ability to code or script using tools such as MATLAB, Python, R, and/or IDL
Understanding of signal processing techniques for novel problem-solving
Experience producing intelligence reports
