Description

A busy community private practice is seeking a full-time physical therapist with good diagnostic skills, good manual therapy skills, and background in not only orthopedics including Cyriax and McKenzie, but neuro and general physical therapy. Applicant should have experience working with physical therapist assistants and participate as a team member with all staff.  

Requirements

Perform examinations and evaluations, develop a diagnosis and treatment plan, and delegate patient treatment to a PTA as appropriate. Participate in educational endeavors and present in-service education to staff. Develop and present new programs to Director.  Maintain active membership in APTA. Maintain CPR certification. Abide by legal requirements and ethical standards of the physical therapy profession. Provide and maintain patient reports and daily notes as well as request authorization for treatment where required by insurers.
