Overview

The Golf Professional or Assistant Golf Professional is responsible for promoting the game of golf while providing excellent service to our guests and pass holders of Heartland Crossing. The Professional will manage and oversee all golf related activites while maintaining constant communication with the General Manager, Staff, and Owners.

Experience Required

We are looking for a passionate and energetic professional with 2-5 years of experience.

Essential Responsibilities

-Ensuring that the image and brand of Hearltand Crossing is maintained through providing outstanding customer service and a quality product

-Promtoing and conducting quality golf events

-Promoting, conducting, and increasing quality golf outings

-Hiring, training and supervising team members 

-Providing lessons, clinics, and special events for golfers of all skill levels

-Monitoring and managing the fiscal goals of all areas of of golf operations including purchasing, merchandising, and inventory control in concert with the General Manager

-Assures the golf shop merchandise is the best selection possible within the constrains of inventory and quantity limits set

-Maintains an attractive, orderly appearance in the pro shop

-Organizes and conducts tournaments, outings, men and women's leagues

-Writes outing contracts, collect fees, and works with the General Manager on reconciliation data after each event

-Interprests and enforces "The Rules of Golf" and course policies

-Attends all staff  and other applicable meetings

-Playing golf with pass holders and guests to general enthusiam

-Performs tasks assigned by the General Manager
