South Carolina Pathology Assignment with Weekday Hours

Practice Setting

• Inpatient and outpatient mix
• Adult patient population
• Hospital-based setting with lab support
• Opportunity to handle both clinical and anatomic cases

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Only occasional weekend 24-hr call (8a-8a)
• No night shifts during the week
• Short-term and ongoing coverage needs available

Procedures and Cases

• Frozen sections required
• Wide specimen mix: biopsies, blood, urine
• Diagnostic focus on adult pathology

Requirements

• BC/BE in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (within 5 years of residency)
• Active South Carolina license required
• BLS required
• Minimum 36 months of experience

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing takes 60-90 days
• Temp privileges available
