Henschel Moberg is seeking a detail oriented, organized, and compassionate candidate to join our firm as a Paralegal. This role would provide administrative support to
Senior Paralegals and Attorneys in all phases of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, adoption, and related litigation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and can manage sensitive client situations with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Client & Case Support
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.
Maintain accurate case files.
Document Preparation
Draft discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
Prepare financial statements and settlement documents.
Organize and prepare trial binders, exhibits, and mediation materials.
Case Management
Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and attorney schedules.
File documents with the court
Track case progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Coordinate service of process and communication with opposing counsel.
Research & Investigation
Gather and analyze financial records, social media evidence, and other case related information.
Qualifications
Paralegal certificate or degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency with case management software and efiling systems.
Personal Attributes
Empathetic and patient when working with clients in emotionally charged situations.
Strong communicator who can balance compassion with professionalism.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
