Overview
Colorado Rehabilitation and Occupational Medicine (CROM), located in Greenwood Village and has been in practice for over 30 years is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team in a private medical office setting. The ideal candidate will possess clinical experience in pain management and knowledge of spinal procedures. Adept in electronic health record (EHR) systems. The Physician Assistant will play a vital role in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of complex medical cases. Experience with trigger point, Botox injections and other office injections is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and assisting over 10 providers in a well-established private practice. CROM practice offers a wide range of services to include narcotic and non-narcotic pain management, spinal procedures, EMG, Stress Thermography and Autonomic Testing Battery, therapeutic injections, Platelet Rich Plasma injections (PRP), Photobiomodulation (light therapy) and Shockwave Therapy.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs and history taking
Review and utilize medical imaging, laboratory data collection, medical evaluations; perform musculoskeletal evaluations
Develop, Assist, and Implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
Administer office injections and medications
Patients follow up after spinal injections
Document patient encounters accurately within EMR systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance
Participate in clinical research trials and data collection efforts to advance evidence-based practices
Collaborate and support our 10 well-established providers and participate with cutting-edge services
Support telehealth initiatives by conducting virtual consultations when applicable
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program with current licensure to practice in the state of Colorado
Experience in all areas of pain management and spinal injections is preferred
Performing in office procedures
Knowledge of documentation in EMR systems, medical coding of CPT codes for procedures and ICD/ICD-10 coding for diagnoses
Solid understanding of physiology principles relevant to patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation
Experience administering injections or performing physical examinations in private clinical office settings
Additional skills such as telehealth experience, and research involvement
