Our Outside Services Supervisor role is an important leadership position for our team, and we will look to you to lead by example, set high standards for the team and promote a work environment that doesn’t settle for anything less than producing high quality results.
In this position, you will work closely with the Outside Services Manager in a highly collaborative manner to maintain service quality and staff training. You will have a strong sense of accountability within the department, assume ownership of communication priorities across our collective teams, and reinforce our instilled values with each interaction. In addition, it is expected that you will work closely and collaboratively with our Food and Beverage, Member Services, Membership/Events, Spa & Salon and Grounds teams to ensure an elevated Ownership, Member, and Invited Guest experience. This “global service” approach is a significant element to our collective success, and this position will play a pivotal role in ensuring, and more importantly, modeling a global service standard, attitude and mind-set in all situations.
Your responsibilities will include creating a welcoming environment that is inviting for our members and guests. Working along with the Outside Services Manager, this position will assist with the daily team functions to ensure smooth and seamless Outside Service operations and manage the team when the Outside Services Manager is not present. This position will also assist with providing daily leadership to the team including assigning tasks and duties and proactively following up to ensure strong team execution and onboarding new hires. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the Cart Barn areas are clean and operated in a safe manner and proactively monitoring of the cart fleet for maintenance needs. Setting a personal example of being a professional, thoughtful and in-the-moment supervisor, while fostering a respectful workplace environment is crucial in this role. In addition, communicating regularly with the team via scheduled team meetings, creating on-going training opportunities to build the team’s collective skills and preparing future Outside Services Attendants will be what ultimately defines success in this role.
Requirements

Strong desire to provide exceptional member service with great attention to the details
Strong relationship and collaboration skills to create partnerships across the teams

Polished and professional approach and appearance
Display a high level of self-motivation, accountability, willingness and determination to do what it takes to get the job done

Demonstrated high level of confidentiality, honesty and integrity in all situations
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous private member/club experience strongly preferred
1+ years of experience in a golf club operation setting preferred
