Ophthalmic Technician-TSM – Phoenix, AZ

We are seeking a motivated Ophthalmic Technician ready to take the next step in their career by transitioning from a clinical role into a high-paying Ophthalmology sales position. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your hands-on ophthalmology experience and clinical knowledge to educate and support optometrists and ophthalmologists in the field. OCuSOFT is an Eye and Skin Care pharmaceutical company seeking the services of a personable, energetic, "can-do" individual for the position of Territory Sales Manager (TSM). Workweeks are Monday-Friday, with the occasional weekend when a trade show/conference is scheduled. TSMs in eye care have a complete focus on delivering medical samples, coupons, literature, and other information to Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, and Opticians in their offices. TSMs also meet with the doctors, staff, and purchaser(s) to directly sell products into the practice as well as market a variety of prescription products to patients and providers.

The Company develops and promotes innovative products that require technical presentations, so the preferred candidate will have good communication skills and be conscientious in their study habits to expand their product knowledge. The individual should also be available for some overnight travel.

The ideal candidate for the Territory Sales Manager is:

• Friendly, Creative, Independent, A multi-tasker
• Eye care sales experience a plus
• Able to travel overnight (up to 25%).
• Individuals must reside within a 30–45-minute commute to Phoenix proper.
• Organized and possesses good communication skills
• Able to "think out of the box."
• A college degree is appreciated but not required.
• Salary commensurate with ability.
