The University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry invites qualified applications and nominations for a full-time non-tenure track Open Rank faculty member in the Department of Care Planning & Restorative Sciences
The responsibilities include didactic, preclinical and clinical teaching at the predoctoral level; research; and service (including faculty practice, University Dentists.) Clinical duties include provision of care to patients through the School’s University Dentists faculty practice.
Opportunities to conduct research are available.
The School of Dentistry is dedicated to excellence in patient care, teaching, research, and service.
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The Department of Care Planning and Restorative Sciences focuses on excellence in clinical education at the pre-doctoral level. The Department operates undergraduate education and clinical training venues within the School of Dentistry.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- A DDS/DMD from a CODA-Accredited dental program or equivalent foreign degree is required.
- The candidate must have qualifications sufficient for obtaining dental licensure in Mississippi.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong preference will be given to those with a track record of working collaboratively in a team-first environment.
- Strong preference will be given to applicants who have training and/or experience in general dentistry or prosthodontics.
