Description
Independent LMT Currently seeking enthusiastic a Licensed Massage Therapists who are looking to work Part time.
We are looking to hire 1-2 massage therapist to join our growing team and be a part of our increasingly busy practice.
We're located in Western NY,
in Olean, NY inside Cattaraugus County. Clients come from 2 counties (Cattaraugus & Allegany) for treatment as there as not enough therapists for the population in the greater Olean to Wellsville area.
Knowing what it takes to offer a great massage experience as well as the hard work each massage therapist has to put into each session and how this work affects your body. You will not be overworked and we will never pressure you to perform more sessions then you can physically do like the big chains do. We understand that you have a life outside of work and will be flexible with your schedule.
Openings are for one weekend day and two or three weekdays - which specific days can be discussed. Optimum availability 2 or 3 days a week total.
Knowledge in deep tissue techniques or cranial sacral or manual lymphatic drainage would be a bonus but no required.
Knowledge in other modalities are welcomed!
Candidates must be able to perform customized massages, tailored to each client's needs. Candidates must be personable and have a willingness to help people feel and be their best.
Perfect for an older therapist that needs extra income or a someone going back to school with limited availability. Or candidates can be newly graduated or have years of experience as long as you are personable, and dependable. Would also be willing to sponsor a provisional license for the right candidate! Maybe expected to handle washing of linens/laundry.

Requirements
- Valid NYS Massage Therapy License with a current registration
- Liability insurance
- Driver's License
- Ability to stand for 6 hours
- Reliability is a must
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Create a positive experience for clients and co-workers
- Handling of dirty soiled linens/use washer & dryer
