Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Level II NDE Technician to join our team here at Viable Engineering Solutions. This position will provide NDE Engineering services to Siemens Energy and its customers to include inspection development, root cause analysis, material diagnostics, procedure authoring and reviewing, and providing NDE support on turbine fleet.

Duties:

• Provide NDE support including different NDE Methods like MT, PT, VT, UT, ET and IR on turbine vanes, blades, baskets, transitions, compressor and turbine bolts, rotors, and many other components
• Performs XRF Gun analysis on components, MicroFocus RT and Computed Tomography on turbine blades and other components
• Conduct supplier audits, first and second article inspections
• Provide additional support as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Level III RT and/or UT
• Additional certifications in VT, MT, PT, IR, ET desired
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Consistently work safely and adhere to company policies and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent
