Description:
Develop and implement a training and competency assessment program in MRI. Provides department orientation, training and initial assessment for new hires and re-hires. Works with technologists and supervisors to develop employee skills through one-on-one site specific training and/or through clinical rotations. Provides clinical and technical resources to staff and students for career development purposes. Works with each site and radiologists to standardize protocols and minimize radiation exposure. Performs MRI exams on all applicable age groups. Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all age groups. Estimated pay range for this position is $39.52 - $51.38 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees:
- High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Basic Life Support.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.
Additional Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an approved AMA Council of Education program in Radiologic Technology.
Minimum Required Experience: 2 Years
