Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate muscle tension and pain
Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals
Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend suitable therapies for ongoing wellness
Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical standards
Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to occupational health and safety protocols
Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care
Stay current with industry best practices and expand your skills through ongoing professional development
Skills

Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills
In-depth knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and pain management strategies
Experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities preferred
Ability to provide compassionate customer service while maintaining professionalism under pressure
Familiarity with occupational health standards and med spa operations is a plus
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning within the field of massage therapy

Requirements

Completion of massage school

Active Florida Massage License

Must have liability insurance

Eagerness to learn and be part of a team
