VERG Brooklyn is seeking a boarded criticalist for locum coverage between August 2nd and September 12th, 2026, as some of our team members step away to focus on board preparation.
VERG Brooklyn is a busy, well-established emergency and specialty hospital right in the heart of Brooklyn. Our Critical Care service sits at the center of the hospital with five criticalists, working closely with an incredible group of specialists across Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Radiology, Cardiology, and more.
Our 12,500-square-foot facility is modern, well-equipped, and designed to make your life easier. We have:
-Siemens 1.5T MRI
-Toshiba Aquilon 128-slice CT
-Multiple ultrasound units (ER, ICU, abdominal, cardiac, anesthesia)
-GE OEC 9800 C-arm
-A full suite of endoscopic equipment
-Individual surgical suites
-A large ICU with a ventilator, multiple Snyder units, and telemetry
-Separate canine, feline, and isolation wards
-A fenced rooftop dog-walking area with K9 grass
