Heltzel Williams is accepting applications for an associate attorney to join its Litigation Law Group.  The successful candidate will gain broad exposure in the areas of employer defense, fiduciary defense, business litigation, and dispute resolution.  The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to interact and engage with clients from the outset.

Requirements

Applicants must have excelled academically and must possess:

Strong oral and written communication skills.
High-level drafting and research skills.
Willingness to engage in complex problem solving and finding creative solutions for clients.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and with team members.
Proven ability to take responsibility for projects and handle multiple deadlines.

Candidates must either be a member of the Oregon State Bar with good standing or plan to take the Oregon State bar exam in February 2026 or July 2026.
