NFI Massachusetts, Inc., a non-profit human service agency, is currently seeking a Life Skills Coach for its Lofts program in Haverhill, MA.

The Lofts is a 5-bedroom community living program for young adults between the ages of 18-22, in Haverhill MA. The Life Skills Coach works collaboratively with young adults to help strengthen their skills, competencies, resources and supports as they transition towards independent living. 

Pay: $22/hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Coach/support young adults to establish and maintain daily and weekly routines for education and vocational programming, community-based therapy, recreation, as well as social and wellness-related activities.
• Assist in making referrals to community providers, as needed.  
• Act as an educational liaison for young adults attending high school or educational equivalent.
• Support the development and implementation of young adults’ individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in daily program structure and operations.

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in sociology, psychology, or a related field and at least one year of experience working with youth and/or young adults.
• Work experience in a residential care setting preferred. Lived Experience a PLUS
• Demonstrated ability to function in a team atmosphere.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
