What You’ll Do
Deliver Exceptional Treatments
- Perform a variety of massage modalities customized to client needs — including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, and other clinical therapeutic techniques.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe, effective, and results-driven sessions.
Assess and Communicate with Clients
- Conduct detailed intake consultations to understand goals, preferences, and any health considerations.
- Educate clients on massage benefits and provide recommendations for ongoing wellness support.
Maintain a Calming, Professional Environment
- Keep treatment room organized, sanitized, and well-stocked.
- Create a relaxing atmosphere with thoughtful lighting, music, and aromatherapy.
Document Client Information
- Maintain accurate, confidential client records including health history, S.O.A.P notes, and treatment outcomes.
Uphold Professional Standards
- Comply with all Georgia state laws and local regulations governing massage therapy.
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance and uphold the studio’s reputation for excellence.
Commit to Growth
- Stay current on industry best practices and new techniques through continuing education.
- Participate in team meetings, workshops, and collaborative studio initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications
Active Georgia Massage Therapy License (Required)
Current Professional Liability Insurance meeting state standards
Proficiency in multiple massage modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to client well-being
Flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings and weekends
