Overview

Pine Island Country Club, a privately owned club located in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Assistant Golf Professional with a strong passion for instruction and player development. Pine Island has a membership of 500, consisting mostly of young professionals and families. The club plays approximately 21, 000 rounds annually, with weekends being very active.

Experience Required

• Private club experience preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated interest and ability in golf instruction and coaching
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group golf instruction to players of varying skill levels, including ladies' and senior golf programs. The club has a quickly growing junior population that creates the opportunity to build a thriving junior golf program.
• Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of golf tournaments and special events, including tournament setup, scoring, and administration using Golf Genius software.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with members and their guests by providing a high level of service and personalized engagement.
• Collaborate effectively with the golf operations team, course maintenance staff, and management to ensure smooth daily operations and an exceptional golf experience.
• Support and promote ladies' and men's events and programming to encourage participation and member engagement.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members and guests.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and service in all member interactions
• Enforce club policies and ensure compliance with all club standards
