Overview

Idlewild Country Club is seeking a Lead Assistant Golf Professional for the upcoming season. Founded in 1908, Idlewild has a rich history that we continue to grow on into the club's second century! We are seeking out an energetic, golf minded individual to join our team for the 2026 season. If you have a great personality and would benefit from being involved in all aspects of the golf operation, we would love to have you join our team!

Experience Required

• The candidate needs to be enrolled in the PGA-PGM Associate Program or in the process of being enrolled in the Associate Program
• At least one year experience at a Private Golf Facility
• Experience with Golf Genius is a plus
• Candidates with a teaching and playing background are a plus
• Staff Management experience required

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory management and merchandising of a Golf Professional owned golf shop
• Assist in Day-to-Day operations of the club
• Provide a memorable experience from entrance to exit
• Assist in Tournament Operations
  • Men's Golf Association
  • Women's Golf Association
  • Couples/Junior Events
  • Outside Outings
• Instruction
  • Private and Group Instruction
  • Junior Golf
  • Fittings (use of Foresight)
• Assist in management of Outside Operations and Caddie Program along with Caddie Master
