What You'll Do
Denham Property & Injury Law Firm is looking for a property casualty litigator, preferably with prior practice area experience, to assist with our vibrant and growing practice.
What You Need
You must have experience managing cases in state and federal courts; supervising/mentoring staff; managing discovery; taking/defending depositions; writing petitions, complaints, motions, and briefs with little supervision; and preparing for trial. This is also an opportunity for a forward-thinking lawyer to learn about the business of practicing law

- Pay: The sky really is the limit, but applicants can expect $150,000+ for meeting minimum expectations. We offer a competitive base + Bonus.
- Location: on-site 5/3rd building downtown Lexington

$150,000 - $250,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
- Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action
- Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
- Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence
- Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
- Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
- Able to work independently while handling multiple files
- Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience working in a law firm environment
- Must be admitted to practice in the State of Kentucky. Additional states are not required, but it is a major bonus.
Based in Lexington, KY, our firm works with clients across the country to pursue fair resolution of their cases.
