Responsibilities
We are looking for a Lab Technician to join our team! In this role, you will perform daily testing of raw materials and finished goods, often in a high-volume environment. You will collaborate closely with other lab technicians, engineers, and manufacturing personnel to ensure product quality and support continuous improvement. If you are passionate about quality control and laboratory operations, we would love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities
- Perform raw material and finished product tests
- Determine acceptability of test results and communicate findings to plants
- Conduct basic maintenance on lab equipment
- Analyze customer complaints and competitor samples; provide reports
- Perform equipment calibrations
- Prepare raw materials and finished products for testing
- Assist in developing and writing lab and quality control procedures
- Maintain a clean work area
- Complete standardized assignments with minimal supervision
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- Willingness to pursue additional formal training as needed
- Experience in quality inspection or plastics processing preferred
- Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Good decision-making ability
- Teamwork experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
