Northside Animal Hospital is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Kennel Attendant to our team. At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Northside Animal Hospital is located in Hooksett, New Hampshire. We are a 3 doctor practice specializing in preventative care and wellness, medical case diagnostics, surgery, dentistry and imaging. We also offer a fully stock veterinary pharmacy, in-house lab work and ultrasound capacity! We've been a beloved part of the community for over 40 years and are dedicated to individualized care and a stellar customer and patient experience. Northside Animal Hospital supports dogs, cats, and other small animals.

$14-18 hourly pay rate

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Keeping the hospital interior client-ready and presentable

Sanitizing and cleaning exam rooms, surgery suite, kennels, treatment areas

Minor outdoor maintenance (landscaping handled by company, no mowing or weeding)

Variety of housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, taking out garbage etc.)

Walking, feeding, and picking up after the animals

REQUIREMENTS

Must be friendly and outgoing as you will be interacting with clients on a daily basis

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and be willing and able to safely restrain or move dogs of all sizes including dogs that are over 100 pounds

Must be flexible with hours and available to work Monday through Friday - no weekends!

Must be comfortable standing, walking and being active for most of the day

Must be able to handle excited dogs who may bark and jump
