The Crescent School District seeks a collaborative, student-centered leader to serve as K–12 Principal. The Principal provides instructional and operational leadership and plays a vital role in maintaining a positive school culture and supporting student success. Requirements
Hold or be eligible for a Washington State Principal or Administrator Certificate.
Hold a post-baccalaureate degree.
Have successful classroom teaching experience prior to administrative service; administrative experience preferred.
Demonstrate instructional leadership and supervision skills.
Expectations – Principal
Provide instructional leadership through supervision, mentoring, and evaluation of staff, including implementation of the Washington State TPEP framework.
Foster a positive, supportive, and student-centered school culture.
Work collaboratively with staff to improve teaching and learning through data-driven practices.
Serve as an accessible and visible leader.
Support student activities and athletics, including evenings and weekends.
Oversee student discipline, building operations, and school programs.
Collaborate with the Superintendent and leadership team.
Manage school programs, staff supervision, and ASB-related budgets.
Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and commitment to professional growth.
Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and community.
Other duties as assigned.
