As a Vice President in Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. You help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by anticipating new and emerging risks, and using your expert judgement to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers and communities. Our culture in Risk Management and Compliance is all about thinking outside the box, challenging the status quo and striving to be best-in-class.For this Vice President role, we are seeking a highly capable and versatile team member to join our Home Lending Credit Forecasting team. This individual will be responsible for portfolio analytics, analyzing model results, process improvement, and assisting with ad hoc research and requests for both BAU (CECL, budget, outlook) and stress exercises (Risk Appetite, CCAR). Beyond the Home Lending Credit Forecasting team, you will also work closely with the Home Lending Risk, Modeling and Controller teams to improve insights, data quality, analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Drive portfolio analytics initiatives, including segmentation, high-quality insight generation and control enhancements
- Collaborate with data partners to ensure data quality and effective change control
- Contribute to process improvements and the development of robust controls
- Support ad hoc management requests and urgent analyses as needed
- Analyze model results and assist in explaining results
- Communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with Risk, Modeling and Controller teams to improve processes, analysis, insights and reporting
- Engage with stakeholders through regular one-on-one meetings, bringing agenda topics and following up on action items to maintain strong relationships
- Actively seek and respond to feedback, promoting an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate actionable insights
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and adapting to evolving business needs
- Possess good judgment with the demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
- Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Experience working in risk analytics, portfolio management, or financial services is highly preferred
- Strong background in analytics, with experience in tools such as SQL, SAS, or Python, and a demonstrated ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable recommendations
- Experience leading people, workstreams or projects
- Experience working with geographically diverse teams
