Overview

The Head Golf Professional will oversee all aspects of the golf operation including the pro shop, tournaments and events, lessons and clinics, merchandising, and daily golf operations. The position works closely with ownership and the management team to enhance the member experience and grow participation in the game.

Lone Pine Country Club is looking for a hands-on golf professional who takes pride in hard work, integrity, and delivering a great member experience.

Essential Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily golf operations including tee sheet management, pro shop operations, and member services
• Provide a welcoming and professional experience for members and guests
• Organize and manage club tournaments, golf outings and member golf events
• Lead junior golf programming, clinics, and player development initiatives
• Provide private and group instruction to members and guests
• Manage pro shop merchandising, inventory control, and vendor relationships
• Supervise and schedule golf shop staff and outside services staff
• Maintain accurate point-of-sale and inventory systems
• Work collaboratively with club management and the golf course superintendent to ensure a high-quality golf experience
• Assist in promoting club events and helping grow participation in golf at Lone Pine

• Maintain strong operational controls and accountability within the golf shop
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and integrity in all aspects of the position
